They are currently looking for a dynamic, proactive and highly organised Programme Manager to help develop, coordinate and manage a brand-new programme of healthy living activities, opportunities and events for families and young people.

This is an exciting new project which will aim to identify, engage and empower local families and young people to improve their health and wellbeing. The new Active Families Programme Manager post will implement a weekly programme of sports, recreation and health initiatives for target groups - local families and young people (11-19yrs) that have poor physical and mental health or weight issues, and families and young people from BAME and/or LGBTQI+ communities. The Active Families Programme Manager will collaborate with external organisations, specialists and professional trainers/tutors to provide a varied programme of healthy living courses, sessions/classes and events for target groups. They will also work in partnership with stakeholders, local organisations and schools to support and connect isolated families in Camden to healthy living activities and services. The role will also include supporting and maintaining quality assurance systems to monitor and evaluate the programme's outcomes.

To apply for this role you must be an energetic, enthusiastic Programme Manager, with proven experience in sport, physical activities, health and/or community sports development. You must have extensive experience of working with children, young people and their families, and must have an understanding of engaging with a variety of hard to reach groups. You must have demonstrable experience of successfully creating and managing sport/physical activity/health/community projects and initiatives, and of monitoring and evaluating programmes to exemplify outcomes. You must also have experience of supporting and mentoring tutors, trainers and sessional staff, and of working in partnership with a variety of external agencies.

Please initially apply with a Word formatted version of your CV. A full job description will be provided by Prospectus to applicants who are successful at the initial selection process.

Initial interviews to take place Thursday 11th April.
