The Role

Join our growing Innovation & Planning Team, as Supporter Communications & Planning Manager. The Innovation & Planning Team is responsible for ensuring the robust and tailored planning of supporter journeys, introducing new fundraising products and the effective management of the fundraising portfolio.

Implementing best in class supporter journeys, the successful candidate will be responsible for the review and development of the Legion’s fundraising communication planning and supporter journeys, using data, insights and profiling systems as well as working in close collaboration with fundraising teams.

We are looking for an experienced consumer facing communications or marketing professional to effectively plan, test and recommend supporter journeys that are supporter centric, to deliver maximum results. Using insights and testing, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating the development of core messaging, channel selection and positioning in response to the Legions identified audiences. The candidate will also promote the use of data and profiling systems to identify potentially new cohorts for acquisition.

As this new function develops, the candidate will also develop integrated marketing plans, to bring to market new fundraising initiatives created through the Legion’s fundraising innovation process. Working closely with the Marketing Team, the candidate will plan bought, earned and owned routes to market as well as recommend the marketing spend to deliver cost effective CPAs and ROI.

The successful candidate will champion an insight led, test and learn approach, being able to report on insightful trends, bring insights to life and engage a business audience with their recommendations.

Please note this is a fixed-term role, covering for Parental Leave.
