Are you seeking a strategic focused role that involves overseeing the delivery of two engaging national campaigns?


Prospectus is pleased to be partnering once again with a leading national disability charity that supports young people and their families. The organisation is currently seeking an Interim Marketing & Communications Manager for a period of 14 months, to lead a small and dedicated marketing team, ensuring that content is both audience focused, on brand and delivered in engaging ways across all channels, thus ensuring brand awareness is maximised and engagement is properly developed.


Reporting to the Head of External Affairs, this person will contribute to the charity's strategy while also being responsible for overseeing the creation of high quality content and the delivery of design and copy for digital, direct mail, press, printed collateral and relevant campaigns. Acting as a brand guardian, you will also line manage a Marketing Officer and a Digital Innovation Lead who will be integral in actively producing content across social media, the website and internal publications. This person will also brief designers as and when required.

A primary focus and exciting prospect of this role will be the implementation and evaluation of a key awareness raising community building campaign, as you will finalise effective content as well as launch planned initiatives, evaluating their success along the way.

You will need demonstrable experience working within a vibrant marketing department and ideally gained within the charity sector. This position demands someone who can utilise a diligent and pragmatic project management approach to the workload across the team as there will be multiple priorities to manage at any one time. You will also have a background coordinating and managing the design process, as well as having a concise understanding of how social channels should be utilised and therefore will also be confident at aligning and developing an organisation's tone, audience and brand.
