Job Details
We are looking to recruit an experienced and determined Fundraising Officer to be based at our Reading Office on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone who is a creative thinker, resourceful and proactive and a good communicator, with proven success in securing funds from Trust and Grant giving organisations.
You should have experience of identifying and growing income for charities with particular focus on understanding of the UK philanthropy market & of donor care.
You will need to have a ‘can-do’ attitude with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of the fundraising environment and regulatory framework in the voluntary sector is essential for this role.
This role requires organisation, flexibility and understanding of the issues affecting people with disabilities, ill-health and long-term conditions.

Trust, Grants and Foundations
Direct Mail appeals
Community Fundraising
Charity of the Year
Permanent, full-time or part-time post, flexible between 28-35 hrs per week.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, the Fundraising Officer will work alongside the Trust and Grant Fundraiser and the Fundraising Team to add support in developing and implementing their work streams.
