Support Worker
We are a national charity that’s been supporting people with learning disabilities since 1962. We put the people we support at the centre of everything we do and use our experience to work in partnership with them to provide personalised services to more than 2,500 people.
We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our Supported Employment & Volunteering teams across Flintshire. Where we provide support to individuals in their work places.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Queensferry, Flintshire
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week
Hourly rate: £9.00 per hour
Staff Benefits Include: Apprenticeships - gain a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care whilst earning, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), Refer a Friend Scheme/ Staff Introduction Scheme, Family-friendly policies, a contributory Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Discounted mobile phone, a confidential Employee Helpline

About you:
You don’t need experience of support work or any special qualifications for this job - you’ll get plenty of training along the way. What matters most is your positive attitude to life and your desire to support people to live their life with as much independence, choice, dignity and control as possible.
You do need to have the flexibility to work shifts and the occasional weekends.
