Night Concierge (Supported Housing)

They are currently going through a large period of growth and have a vacancy for two Night Concierges in Doncaster Foyer. 

Position: Night Concierge 
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire (commutable from Scunthorpe, Sheffield and surrounding areas) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 40 hours per week, including weekends, nights & public holidays 
Salary: £14,450 to £19,550 per annum

About the role: 

The Night concierge worker provides a consistent support service to the residents of the Foyer or Supported Housing service, primarily during the night time hours. You will proactively work with tenants of the project by providing information, advice and guidance as appropriate. You will also ensure the safety and security of the residents, and that all policies and procedures of the association are upheld. 

You will acquire and provide up to date and accurate information relating to clients and the service as a whole, whilst maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and colleagues, in line with organisational policies. 

About you: 

To be successful in this role, you will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. Experience of working in foyers, young people’s services and social housing is required, whilst also managing complex and difficult situations. You will have experience of support work with vulnerable young people, and have knowledge of homelessness and the impact on young people. 

Good time management with an ability to work under pressure and manage any conflicting priorities is essential, as is being computer literate to intermediate level in all MS packages. You will also have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders and local authorities. 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work outside normal working hours in accordance with the needs of the business; you will also be prepared to travel to regional offices and sites around the country. 

You may have experience of the following: Concierge, Support Worker, Care Worker, Customer Service, Front of House, Supported Housing, Health and Safety, Administration, Administrator, Sheltered Housing, Night Concierge, Receptionist, etc.
