Business Office Support Manager
Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with Association of Royal Navy Officers to recruit their new Business Support Manager.

Please be advised the hours for this role can be flexible to be full or part-time ( three to five days per week).
Reporting to the Director, the purpose of this role is it to provide support in the running of the charity and association’s website, outsourcing IT systems and preparing documentation for award grants and grant applications. You will play a key role in managing the association’s RAC scheme, dealing with member enquiries and sending e-mail updates from their CRM system. You will manage the membership system to produce reports, as well as administer contracts for their photocopier, franking machine, telephones and bank accounts. Working closely with the Book Keeper, finance duties will consist of reconciling bank accounts and handling petty cash, as well as dealing with incoming credit card payments.
To be considered for this role it is essential to have previous office support experience, ideally within a small membership office environment. It is essential to have solid IT and data management skills, accompanied with excellent written and verbal communication skills. We require someone who can work with the CRM system to send out large mailshot updates to their members, as well as build relationships at all levels, including with members and service partners. This role is ideally suited to someone who understands the culture of working in a small organisation; showing willingness to pick up additional duties as and when required. A good knowledge of the naval service is desirable.
