Job Details
Would you like a break from the clinical environment? Come and help us make a real difference for those living with heart and circulatory disease, as well as helping to prevent this in the first place.
We have an exciting job opportunity for an experienced Senior Cardiac Nurse to be part of our friendly and dynamic Clinical team. You'll be a source of professional knowledge on the causes and management of heart and circulatory disease for all across the British Heart Foundation; playing a key role in developing resources for the public, working on public awareness and fundraising campaigns, as well as responding to enquiries from the public and media.
We work in an office not a hospital but still help heart patients and their families - everyday. This is an excellent opportunity where you'll receive full training to acquire new skills and professionally develop in a supportive learning environment, utilising your clinical knowledge and experience in a non-clinical setting.
About you
You'll be a NMC registered nurse with extensive cardiac nursing experience in secondary and/or primary care. You'll also have an in-depth knowledge of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including stroke and vascular dementia, as well as lifestyle issues relating to coronary heart disease, and share our drive and determination to beat heartbreak forever.
To find out more, arrange an informal visit and meet our team, please contact Maureen Talbot, Clinical Team Manager on 020 7554 0358.
About us
We have a big job on our hands - beating heartbreak from the world's biggest killers. So we need people who share our values -are brave, compassionate, informed and driven. We need people who share our ambition. And we need people who are experts in their field but and want to make a difference. If that sounds like you, you'll be rewarded with a competitive salary and package of benefits at world class organisation, a healthy work life balance and the support to take your career to new heights.
