nurtureuk is working tirelessly to promote access to education for all. With increasing numbers of children and young people affected by social, emotional and behavioural difficulties inhibiting their progress and limiting their life chances, nurtureuk has developed a range of interventions and support to give disadvantaged children and young people the opportunity to leave school able to be contributing members of society and happy in that place. Whether it is delivering certified training, supporting whole-school or authority-wide nurturing schools approach or promoting evidence-based research, nurtureuk is providing quality support and resources to make nurturing provision a reality for pupils across the UK and beyond.
The focus of nurtureuk's work, together with the national priority to support mental health and wellbeing, places the charity in a strong position to make a significant contribution. In order to respond to this opportunity and growing demand, nurtureuk are implementing a new strategic plan - starting with the recruitment to two new Director-level positions.
The Director of Operations will co-ordinate and improve on the operational structure of the charity based on organisational policies, goals and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Operations will bring maturity and experience to lead their dedicated consultancy and training team helping ensure their customer needs are fully supported, and deadlines are met consistently. As Director of Operations you will help nurtureuk shape the delivery of the nurture interventions for vulnerable children and young people, you will also ensure charity's reputation for quality and high standards are maintained while efficiently managing resources.
As Director of Operations you will have a passion for education for all and go the 'extra mile' to deliver. You will have a thorough understanding of organisational development and experience of managing, developing and motivating staff in a changing environment at senior level. You will have excellent communication and networking skills and be adaptable to change with the ability to encourage a culture of openness and honesty.
As an organisation they offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increased by one day per year up to 30 days) and a flexible working environment.
