Salary:                  £25,000 - £29,000 per annum

Hours:                   37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trust and Legacies Fundraiser with St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Eastbourne.  

As a Trusts and Legacy Fundraiser you will generate income from Trusts and Grants to fund end of life care for local people and will report to funders on a range of projects including our successful Big Lottery funded community support volunteering project.

You will support the Donor Development Manager with legacy promotion and in managing legacy administration and management of legacy records. 

You’ll have a strong track record in generating significant income from trusts and grant making organisations and in translating complex project information into compelling fundraising applications.

Accurate and methodical, you will work across teams to develop, implement and administer a trusts and fundraising strategy for the organisation and to support legacy marketing and administration.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, committed to raising funds to provide end of life care to local people in Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and Pevensey and the rural areas in between and beyond.

It is an exciting time to join St Wilfrid’s as our ‘Closer to You’ projects are providing more care to patients in their own homes and in a range of community settings, as well as in our hospice in Eastbourne. 

We offer a generous holiday entitlement of 27 days per year plus bank holidays along with a contributory pension scheme.
