Managing a small team, you’ll be developing and delivering the programme’s strategy, You’ll lead on advocacy and communications, oversee delivery as well as provide budget oversight for corporate partnership projects. Collaborating closely with colleagues you will implement a programme of advocacy around our policy positions which engages politicians and senior decision-makers in government and business. You will commission research and seek expert opinion to develop evidence-based arguments and recommendations on agriculture, natural capital and freshwater issues too. You will also build and drive partnerships with NGOs and businesses, including existing partnerships, to create transformative pilot programmes and secure long-term funding. Important will be the ability to track changes in the external and political context on these issues and capitalise on opportunities to bring about change.

An accomplished people manager you will be comfortable managing budgets and prioritising work. You will also be effective at building partnerships and relationships as well as developing strategies and projects through identifying mutual objectives. Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
