A opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Prospect Research Officer to join a growing Business Development Team to support WorldSkills UK to drive income by securing new commercial partners and maximising existing partnerships. This is a particularly exciting time as WorldSkills UK are embarking on a journey to grow the portfolio of products to support businesses to recruit and develop their staff to world-class standards. Ultimately, success in this role will contribute to the work of WorldSkills UK to continue to raise the prestige of apprenticeships, develop young people’s skills and drive productivity in the UK economy.

The post holder will support the Business Development Team by providing in-depth sectoral research and analysis to identify new income opportunities by creating and maintaining a prospect pipeline across all sectors. The successful candidate will work across the organisation with our dedicated colleagues to develop planned activities into attractive funding opportunities and proposals; supporting the design and development of high-quality proposals.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and written skills, able to assimilate information quickly and develop well written content. You will have experience in prospect research and identification within a business development function; used to supporting on developing proposals or presentations.
