Job Details
Do you have good, all-round experience in providing IT support? Are you seeking an opportunity to learn and develop?
A pioneering digital mental health charity, that is rapidly growing as they move through their 'start up' phase and into an established NGO, are now seeking an IT Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. This incredible organisation develops and delivers new digital tools that will greatly enhance how people have conversations surrounding their mental health.
Reporting to the Head of IT and Security, you will support both the development and running of their IT and security services as the organisation looks to consolidate their growth in a way that maintains their ability to deploy technology quickly and react to end-user requirements. Working with the team you will actively identify and develop service improvements and/or new services, while also proposing technological solutions and performing technical activities on projects and changes. You will also help maintain and develop the charity's website.
We are seeking individuals with technical knowledge who are seeking a hands on and immersive position. The charity want someone with both the ambition and desire to learn new tools, skills and the drive to succeed within a progressive and passionate environment.
Succeeding within a highly varied role, we are looking for individuals who are hungry to learn and broaden their knowledge. You will be supported in this role to ensure that you develop and grow into a skilled IT professional. On the flip side, our client are seeking a 'self-starter', someone who relishes the chance to solve problems and who initially takes the initiative to find solutions independently. Experience of working within an IT team is essential alongside excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A full job description will be provided to candidates shortlisted by Prospectus. Please apply by providing a CV in Word format; a cover letter is not required at this stage.
