This is an exciting opportunity to join a national charity as a Fundraising Partnerships Manager, at their Head Office in Huddersfield.
Our client is a national charity and membership association specifically for nurseries. They work in partnership with nurseries, local authorities, national government and a range of partners, to develop an environment in which early learning and care can flourish.
Position: Fundraising Partnerships Manager
Location: Head Office, Huddersfield
Salary: £33,000 to £36,500 depending upon experience
Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week)
Job Type: Permanent

The Fundraising Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying and securing external funding opportunities from a range of funding agencies including local and central government and Europe, to improve business performance and further develop the charity’s activities in England, Scotland, Wales and oversees. As Fundraising Partnerships Manager you will develop and lead the external fundraising strategy for the organisation, successfully tendering for funding and in collaboration with key partners, where appropriate, in order to maximise income.
About You
As Fundraising Partnerships Manager, you will have proven experience of developing funding applications and successful bid or tender applications and be able to manage relationships in order to maximise funding opportunities. You will manage funder and partner relationships and have good management skills to lead and motivate a team.
With wide knowledge of external funding streams both UK and EU and of statutory funding processes, you will understand the auditing and record keeping requirements of external funders, whilst having good knowledge of government departments and the challenges and opportunities within the charitable sectors.
The Fundraising Partnerships Manager, will have excellent project management and co-ordination skills and a Project management qualification, such as Prince2, would also be an advantage.
