Position: Individual Giving Assistant - Retention
Location: Flexible across England, Wales and Northern Ireland
Contract type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £19,609 to £23,604 actual per annum (depending on location)

About the role:
As a member of their high performing Individual Giving team you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of people affected by dementia. This is a great role for someone with ambition to work in fundraising and/or marketing.
You will work closely with the rest of the team, assisting the officer, senior officer and manager in the management of cash appeals, raffles and other projects. You will also have campaign management responsibility for a variety of exciting direct marketing campaigns across their cause and gaming programmes.
Your role will focus on the retention and stewardship of their existing supporters – primarily through channels like telemarketing, email and mail so you will be working on campaigns like upgrading their direct debit supporters, reactivating lapsed supporters, and designing stewardship journeys.
About you:
This is a busy, varied role with lots of development opportunities, so they are looking for a driven, highly organised individual, with a keen eye for detail.
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain key relationships with a range of audiences, as well as communicate effectively with their internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrable ability to negotiate with and influence others, who may have different priorities, to achieve common goals.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Strong IT skills including a high degree of competence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
