Job Details

We are working alongside a sizable international charity who work tirelessly to deliver vital health-care all around the world. They are now looking for a part-time Assistant Restricted Fund Accountant to work flexible part-time hours.

This role is offering a salary of 28,000 - 32,000 for 25-30 hours a week (equivalent of 36.7k- 44k FTE).

We are looking for someone with:
- Experience of financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Experience in multi-currency reporting and accounting
- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Excellent excel skills
- And someone in tune with the vision and goals of the organisation's ethos!

The charity's wish list includes:
- someone who is part-qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
- a candidate with working experience of SUN/Q&A/InforBI
- some experience of donor reporting
- a French speaking (this would be a big bonus)

Experience:
- Experience of financial accounting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Experience in multi-currency reporting and accounting
- Accounting systems and reporting experience to include Vision Q&A and SUN 6.0 (desirable)
- Business experience in both a commercial and not for profit environment (desirable)
- A good understanding of the importance of managing restricted funds / project accounting (desirable)
- Experience in the periodic reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (desirable)

Note you will also need:
- a high level of numeracy
- an analytical approach to information gathering and dissemination
- a high level of attention to detail
- an effective communicator across departments and globally
- excellent excel skills
- to be self-motivated

This role can be very flexible. In regards to working hours - you could do 5 hours a day or 3.5 days a week (or something in between). As a result this would be a great option if you are a working parent or anyone else looking for part-time, flexible work.
