Position: Care Coordinator 
Location: London 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 08.30 to 17.30 or 09.00 to 18.00 (plus one evening a week and one weekend a month on call) 
Salary: up to £31,500 package inclusive of on-call rates 

About the role: 

As a care coordinator, you will be responsible for managing client and staff bookings, ensuring their  clients have continuity of care and are allocated the most suitable member of staff to match their individual requirements. Liaising with healthcare professionals, you will ensure that their clients have the best possible care and assistance in place. 

About you: 

You will be able to effectively organise your own time to prioritise activities to the required standard. Your ability to handle many different tasks at once and to be flexible in your approach to the way the task is done will benefit you greatly. 

The successful candidate will have experience within the healthcare industry and a care coordinator position (or similar), particularly in domiciliary care. It is preferable to have some clinical training also. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate well and appropriately with clients, members of their family, nurses, carers and other members of staff. 

A professional and customer focussed approach is needed including absolute discretion, diplomacy and sensitivity in handling confidential matters and information.
