Prospectus is excited to be working with an organisation that focuses on fighting against climate change, to recruit for a new Development Officer (Major Donor). The organisation is on the frontline of the fight to preserve our bio-sphere and push governments and corporates to do more to address their impact on the climate.

This role is offered on a full time permanent basis with the salary starting at £30,000+, based around Hackney in a high performing team that is passionate about preserving our planet for future generations. You will manage the donor programme for donors that have the ability and desire to give between £10,000 and £50,000 per year. Our client is redesigning the giving circles/levels in their Major Donor programme at the moment so this is an incredibly exciting time to join the team. You will have regular communications with high net worth individuals, putting together donor stewardship pathways working with scientists, lawyers, influencers and senior management.

You will be an excellent relationship manager with proven experience of working in a major donor or fundraising role with a thorough understanding of how to build and manage a donor pipeline. You will have successfully secured four and five figure gifts through meetings, personal asks, and written communications.
