Our client is a charity dedicated to supporting adults with a learning disability to lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected. They provide a range of services in Coventry and Oxford which help people with a learning disability live their life to the full.
Position: Team Leader
Location: Coventry Head Office and Coventry Services
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Starting at £21,033 per annum
Closing Date: 04 April 2019

About the Role:
Our client are looking for a confident, dynamic and intuitive Team Leader to support the Area Manager in the management and development of the areas staff to ensure the delivery of a high quality service to the vulnerable adults Life Path Trust supports. The successful candidate will be adept at monitoring the service and performing daily maintenance of the service rota ensuring that funded hours are provided in a cost effective way.
About the Candidate :
This role will require some local travel around Coventry to services in your area.
The successful candidate will be keen to take on new challenges and will be proactive in their approach with excellent attention to detail. They will have a minimum NVQ level 2 qualification in a related field. They will have supervisory experience with a background in social care and experience of working with vulnerable adults and those with a learning disability. They will have a good knowledge of how social care is funded and will be able to maintain the service rota’s in a cost effective way. They will have experience of taking on responsibility for ensuring staff development. They will need to work within the services and on occasion will be required to provide hands on support.
They will require good numeracy, literacy and computer skills and the ability to understand and produce comprehensive reports on request. They will have proven ability of internal auditing and effective monitoring.
They will be extremely confident using the Microsoft Office Package (word, excel, PowerPoint etc.)
They will be committed to the overall aims of the organisation and will possess excellent personal values with commitment to the well-being of our Citizens and staff.
