Community Programme Manager

Location: Groundwork London offices, primarily based in Hackney and project sites across London
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Circa £30,000, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week
In this role you’ll manage the delivery of an innovative and varied portfolio of community and education projects and services primarily in East London. Recent projects have included food-waste reduction and green industry school campaigns and Refugee integration programmes.
You’ll oversee the delivery of more than 25 community projects in the coming year. The ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver outstanding work will be crucial in this role. You will have a leading role in the development of new projects within the education sector and your enthusiasm for building effective relationships with new and existing partners and funders will be essential.
You’ll have experience in delivering community and education projects, engaging with diverse communities and strong relationship management skills. As an enthusiastic team player, you will have excellent written and verbal skills that will enable you to ensure high standards of communication, and the ability to implement projects to the highest standards.
You will be experienced in planning projects and reporting, monitoring and evaluating the impact against KPIs and targets. Managing multiple project budgets and team capacity through our bespoke Project Management System will enable you to plan project delivery effectively.
