The Development Manager will be an essential member of the University’s Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) team and play an integral part in the delivery of its mission and philanthropic income targets.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy and working closely with DAR and University colleagues, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, dynamic and ambitious team, helping to achieve campaign targets and wider objectives.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and stewarding long-lasting relationships with individual, corporate and foundation donors, and securing significant financial support.

As NTU embarks on a major philanthropic campaign, and prepares to launch a new alumni and community engagement strategy, it is a particularly exciting time to be joining the Development and Alumni Relations team.

The ideal candidate for this position will have substantial experience in a major gifts fundraising/high-end sales role, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will be a strong team player working well both collaboratively and independently, whilst retaining a focus on achieving targets. Crucially, the successful candidate will have a proven ability to influence and communicate at the highest levels, in order to champion the University’s philanthropic campaign.

Determination, creativity, excellent interpersonal skills and a passion and commitment to the aims and objectives of Nottingham Trent University are all prerequisites.
