Are you an experienced Grants Manager keen to transfer your skills into a challenging new role?

Our client is one of the largest international charities working to promote and deliver philanthropy and social investment, supporting growth in the charitable sector, and they are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to join their marketing department.

Please be advised this role is based in King's Hill, Kent with regular travel to the London office.

Leading on the overall grant making operations, the overall purpose of this role is to work closely with teams across the organisation to build and develop relationships, driving new business and income for online grant making, internal reporting and KPI management within the grant making department. Day to day duties will include line managing the grants team, providing a strong operational lead with measurable objectives,leading the implementation of the operational plan specific to grant-making, and project managing a portfolio of grant making programmes. You will also have the opportunity to design and develop frameworks identifying key partnerships, along with monitoring delivery and income against targets. In addition you will be expected to represent the charity at events as and when.

To be considered for this role, it is essential to have a proven track record of working at operational management level within grants, trusts or foundations. The placed candidate will have experience of designing and managing grant making programmes including strategy, governance, measurement and impact, as well as leadership. As you will be managing two staff members, you will be required to have previous line management experience. This role is ideally suited to someone who is results driven with the ability to problem solve, as well as inspire others. Strong analytical, financial and project management skills will also be essential. A relevant degree in grant making or philanthropy is desirable.
