Director of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement (Interim)

Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement

Location: Brighton - Moulsecoomb

Salary:   £67,974 to £74,259 per annum

The University of Brighton is seeking an exceptional individual to lead its Philanthropy and Alumni Services department and to help determine its future direction. The role, which will be fixed-term for one year, will provide an opportunity for a fundraising professional to lead a successful team and also support the University Executive Board in setting priorities for the department’s long-term future.

This is an exciting time to join the University of Brighton. The University is at the mid-point of its 2016-2021 Strategy – Practical Wisdom – and is looking to the future through its estates masterplan for its Moulsecoomb campus in Brighton, which will see the development of new halls of residence, an academic building (which will house its Business School), sports facilities and new space for students, including the Students’ Union.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in the delivery of the University’s strategic plans for alumni engagement and philanthropic giving, an area of development during a period of significant capital investment.

To apply for the role, please upload an up-to-date CV and provide a full personal statement on how you feel you meet the person specification for the role.
