TPP is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with AT Society to recruit for Corporate and Major Donor Manager.

The Organisation

A-T or Ataxia-Telangiectasia is a rare genetic disorder which affects various systems within the body. It increases physical disability, especially coordination and movement and weakens the immune system. Those with the condition are more likely to experience colds, infections and often lung problems. Additionally, sufferers of A-T have an increased risk of cancer especially leukaemia and lymphoma.

AT Society supports individuals and families who suffer from A-T. This includes the shock of initial diagnosis, treatment, general advice and support for everyday living. Additionally, their support team work in partnership with clinicians and A-T specialist NHS clinics.

The Role

The main aim of the role is to generate income from corporate organisations and HNWI's or major donors. You will seek out and secure new corporate partnerships including charity of the year partnerships. You will develop long term relationships through employee engagement initiatives which could include employee lead fundraising activities, donations, and gifts in kind.

You will also identify and develop relationships with high net worth and influential individuals. You will engage and acquaint them with the work of the charity, especially projects which might be of interest to them. You will be confident when communicating with stakeholders and ensure they receive effective stewardship and thanking.

Person Specification

In order to be successful in this role, you will have a good track record in income generation, from either a fundraising or commercial background. You will have experience of building and nurturing relationships in or with the commercial sector. You will have a natural ability to build rapport quickly with senior stakeholders or HNWI's. Finally, you be able to think strategically and creatively to develop the organisations fundraising strategy and income potential.

The role is paying a competitive salary circa £40,000-/+. The role can be considered on a part time basis. The charity embraces flexible working in regard to working hours (start and finish time) and allows some work from home.
