Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Regional Administrator 
Location: Flexible within Tyneside, Sunderland, Durham, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire 
Contract type: Permanent, Part Time 
Hours: 21 per week 
Salary: £11,167 actual per annum 

Closing date: 21 March 2019 
Interview date: 4 April 2019 to be held in York 

About the role: 

Their strategy, a New Deal on Dementia, sets out a vision for an inclusive society where people affected by dementia have the relevant information, advice and guidance to participate on their terms, in a dementia friendly society. 

The Operations Directorate is at the heart of this strategy and they are reshaping their administration structure to focus on specialisms that allow them to realise their strengths and build on the excellent work they have done to date and grow their service to provide advice and support to anyone diagnosed with dementia. 

You will be a part of their dedicated team at their Regional virtual administrative hub which provides a high quality, flexible and effective administrative support to Operations teams across the country. You will be based in one of their offices near to your home and some travel may be required across the Region for training or meetings. 

They aim to deliver an excellent experience for everyone who comes into contact with the team by providing a professional first point of contact which is backed up by an efficient and effective administrative service. Administrators are based in various locations across the Region.

You will ensure that society wide information systems and processes are followed consistently and will work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless, integrated administrative service to support Operations functions. 

About you: 

Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent, you will possess an ECDL or demonstrable equivalent experience of using IT systems. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to develop good working relationships at all levels are essential. Attention to detail, a flexible and pro-active approach are also required.
