A new opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to join our client's team has arisen for the role of Major Gifts & Partnership Officer.  Reporting to the Major Gifts and Partnership Manager the successful candidate will support raising money from charitable trusts, large scale partnerships and high net worth individuals.

Hours: 28 hours a week
Contract: Permanent

Researching potential funders the role holder will be highly motivated to identify new opportunities as well as developing existing relationships.  In addition you will possess excellent communication skills to write compelling fundraising propositions to charitable trusts as part of the fundraising strategy.

Experience of broad fundraising principles is desirable; however they are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in this field of fundraising with practical experience of organising major gift events undertaking risk assessments as well as Health & Safety and insurance requirements.

This is an exciting time to join our client's Hospice as they move towards opening a new 18 bed Hospice in Bosham in Spring 2019.  This major fundraising and development project has been well supported by the community who enable them to maintain the high standards of care for patients and families for which they are known.
