Head of Fundraising
Salary: £41,800 - £48,800
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Hours: 35 per week (element of flexibility)
Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) is a countywide voluntary organisation providing rehabilitation services to visually impaired people in Kent, Medway, and Bromley.
We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Head of Fundraising who can build on the current achievements of the team and continue to expand and diversify our fundraising portfolio during an exciting period of development for the Charity.
This role will be pivotal to continued growth and will give the successful candidate an opportunity to make the role their own, developing and leading on fundraising strategies particularly in relation to major donors.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a charity fundraising environment together with a proven track record of successful fundraising asks, demonstrable experience of team leadership and managing large fundraising projects.
This is a challenging and rewarding position which will appeal to a committed and energetic professional who will report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have high professional standards and experience of delivering quality services through motivated teams. Senior management experience and knowledge of strategic and business planning is essential, together with strong communication skills and the capacity to network effectively at all levels.
Experience of working within the voluntary sector is desirable but not essential.
