Prospectus is proud to be partnering with an advice and support organisation to recruit a Media & PR Manager on a permanent basis. The organisation are a leading advocate of ensuring older people have a voice within parliament and are currently in the process of delivering their ambitious 5 year strategy.

The Media & PR Manager will manage the organisations media and PR programme. You will gain coverage for their work in a range of print, online and broadcast media outlets including national news, consumer, sector-specific and regional titles. You will support their approach to integrated public engagement, ensuring their media and PR activity supports their objects to build a stronger brand, raise awareness and understanding of their values and goals.

The successful candidate will have proven track record in media management and promoting news across national, consumer, region and trade media. You will have an excellent understanding of the UK press and media landscape with good contacts as well as the ability to cultivate and develop key relationships with journalists and media outlets. You must be educated to degree level or have significant experience in media/PR or journalism.
