Description

The Key responsibilities for the Head Of Marketing & Communications include:

  • Lead on the integrated College global marketing and communications strategy,including brand, digital marketing, channel management and stakeholder engagement
  • Produce an annual marketing plan alongside associated budget maximising ROI
  • Support portfolio and product development and advice on commercial and income generation opportunities or other specialist expertise as required
  • Identify market research and consultation requirements to support activity
  • Lead the implementation of major projects, programmes and process improvements
  • Manage a team of mixed specialisms and responsibilities
  • Build and support effective relevant relationships across all areas of responsibility
  • Undertake competitor evaluation and benchmarking
  • Monitor new developments in marketing practice within the sector and beyond

Profile

The Successful Head Of Marketing & Communications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject or demonstrable evidence of substantial professional work
  • Recent significant experience in a leadership role in marketing ideally with a mix of both private and public sector environments
  • Experience of creating marketing strategies
  • Experience of broad cross functional and collaborative working in a large organisation
  • Excellent understanding and experience of implementing a wide range of marketing approaches and techniques
  • Excellent understanding of wide variety of communication channels including social media
  • Strong team leadership and management experience
  • Client management skills to build constructive relationships and keep stakeholders on board with plans and approaches
  • Sound analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to understand complex data sets and draw conclusions from multiple sources of information.
  • Effective change management skills, including the ability to set out the rationale for change, establish buy-in and prepare, develop and equip colleagues to engage positively with change initiatives


Job Offer

Basic Salary between £40,000 - £55,000
