Prospectus is partnering once again with the outstanding London's Air Ambulance, the charity providing advanced trauma care across the capital. We are seeking someone who is passionate and people focussed, who will lead on maintaining the smooth-running of the charity's small yet dedicated shop, based on the ground floor below the helipad at the Royal London Hospital!

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating a volunteer rota, ensuring there is cover during opening hours while also overseeing the volunteers who you will be working alongside during the day. Through the use of Excel spreadsheets that are already in place, you will actively monitor and report on stock control ensuring that income and expenditures are recorded effectively, while also physically restocking the shelves as and when required.

We are seeking someone who is resourceful with a flexible approach, who will positively adopt the charity's core values which are; Passion, Teamwork, Professionalism, Excellence, Resilience, and Transparency.

Ideally you will have worked within a charity or hospice shop although this is not an essential requirement, previous retail experience is NOT needed for the success of this role. It is very important however that you have managed people before and will therefore be confident in coordinating and overseeing a diverse range of volunteers, therefore the ability to plan ahead and stay organised is required. A calm and professional approach will work well within this environment.
