Treasurer

It is an exciting time to join CPRE. Our Chief Executive, Crispin Truman, who joined just over a year ago leads a new Senior Management Team who have been managing an organisation-wide review of our purpose, mission, values and brand.  We are currently consulting on a new strategic plan which will launch in 2020 and take us to our Centenary in 2026.

The changes we are making are all about helping CPRE to broaden its appeal to new audiences and supporters, better engage with local communities and articulate our purpose in a positive, solution-focused way which successfully makes the case for the enhancement, promotion and protection of our countryside.  This work will include initiatives to increase our impact, reverse membership decline, increase and diversify income, and help grow our volunteer network and our support generally.

We’re looking for someone with senior organisational, financial and strategic thinking skills to provide balance within the Board. This role is for a candidate who cares about the natural environment and wants to be part of an organisation that campaigns to protect the countryside for people.
