Based in this charity's Global Conservation Directorate you will help find creative solutions to conservation challenges and you will collaborate with leading thinkers to develop the environmental policies and management tools of the future, whilst ensuring that the organisation's work is underpinned by sound economics.

Working with fellow economists, scientists, influencers and policy makers in the UK and the devolved administrations, and with the Birdlife partnership, you will help the charity maximise the opportunities and minimise the risks to nature associated with Brexit, and help shape the UK's role in global environmental policy. You will also work with their fantastic community of conservation practitioners helping develop new appraisal tools and trialling new market based approaches to ensure birds and other wildlife thrive in our changing world.

This post requires an economist, ideally educated to post graduate level; a collaborative and forward looking individual with a passion for the environment and an appetite for deploying economics know-how to solve today's environmental challenges.
