Programmes Finance Manager
Peterborough
Salary £30,000 pa

Are you passionate about international development and want to use your finance skills to support the implementation of overseas programmes, improving the lives of marginalised people affected by leprosy?

With at least two years financial management experience, ideally within an INGO setting, to include multi-currency accounting and reporting, as well as having experience of grant management and working with donor institutions, you will be able to prioritise and co-ordinate across multiple tasks, with drive and flexibility to undertake a wide range of projects/activities simultaneously.

Working within the programmes team, you will help the Head of Programmes with the delivery of an effective financial management service, including budgets, reporting and compliance enabling the achievement of strategic and country level objectives. There is an emphasis on building financial capacity overseas, as well as providing hands on finance support to TLM’s work in developing countries in both the Asia and Africa regions. You will have proven professional and facilitation skills having worked cross culturally and be willing to undertake overseas trips totalling approximately 30 days per annum.

The Leprosy Mission England and Wales (TLMEW) is a leading international Christian development organisation with over 140 years’ experience and is part of the TLM worldwide family. TLMEW is active in 10 countries and we have over 50 projects addressing the causes and consequences of leprosy, ranging from health and livelihoods to advocacy, water and sanitation. TLMEW has a zero tolerance approach to any harm to, or exploitation of, our beneficiaries, staff and communities we come into contact with. Recruitment to roles within TLMEW includes, in particular, criminal record checks and the collection of relevant references. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences. Safeguarding is our top priority in everything we do. Empathy with the Christian ethos of the organisation is essential.
