Implementation Project Manager
Victim Support are a national, independent charity supporting victims and witnesses of crime. As an organisation, they work towards a world in which people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and the respect they deserve. Victim Support have recently been awarded the 'Integrated Victims and Witness Service' in London, created from the amalgamation of 4 separate contracts to ensure an integrated, accessible and responsible service to all beneficiaries. They are now recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to ensure the successful and smooth implementation of the contract for various staff across multiple locations.
Working closely with the Director of Services, and the 3 Heads of Services, you will oversee the whole-scale implementation of the contract, keeping the team updated on all significant actions and milestones. You will take a lead for some of the work streams of the implementation plan, and will provide regular updates on the plan, including arranging meetings and taking minutes as required.
This is an excellent opportunity to drive and support organisational change for the benefit of vulnerable service users. To apply for this role, you must be an experienced Project Manager, with significant experience of overseeing complex projects of a value of at least Â£1 million. You must have experience of working under pressure, and of working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders (experience of working with Commissioners is desirable). You must have knowledge and experience of successfully applying relevant project managerial methodology, and experience of embedding new processes, functions and systems. Overall, you will be exceptional communicator, skilled in managing and embedding change.
