An exciting new role leading a team to develop new products and innovations!

Our client is the leading provider of domestic abuse refuges in London, last year supporting 3,600 adults and children to recover from their trauma. Building on their experience in delivering domestic abuse services, they are also committed to wider programmes to prevent domestic abuse.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on their exciting programmes such as UK SAYS NO MORE, Everybody’s Business and digital innovation including the Bright Sky app. You will also have the opportunity to leverage relationships around Domestic Abuse and in the future Modern Slavery as well.

Based within their Fundraising department, the Deputy Director for Innovations and Partnership will provide leadership to a dedicated and passionate team around the development of new innovations and projects that will meet the needs primarily of victims of domestic abuse, but also of victims of modern slavery. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships with new partners and develop current key client contacts.

Deputy Director for Innovations and Partnership - Fundraising

Location: London Bridge

Salary: £62,664 rising to £63,960 per annum after 1 year

Grade: 68-69

Hours: 39 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, flexi time (core hours 10am -4pm)

Closing date: 18 March 2019

Person specification

 

  • Exceptional track record of building strong and trusting relationships with corporates
  • Demonstrable experience of significant income generation
  • Strong commitment to close partnership working
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Experience of managing a small but diverse team
  • Strong understanding of domestic abuse, modern slavery and key related policy and practice issues
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills (written and verbal)
  • Creative and innovative in all areas of work.
  • Ability to manage projects within a complex organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure, to strict deadlines with sound attention to detail
  • Empathy with and understanding of their charitable causes
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately.
