Centres Development Officer
Hours of work: Full Time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £24,519.15 - £28,783.35 per annum dependant up on experience
This is an exciting key role to work within WCHG’s, Community Centres across the Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the important task delivering a robust plan to increase occupancy by a minimum of 8% year on year, supporting future sustainability, including but not limited to the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre and Benchill Community Centre. Other duties will include advising the management team on marketing techniques to develop an offer that is fit for purpose for the community centres.
This role will shape the functions and events service to deliver a high quality one to one service to all stakeholders, whilst producing branded marketing and publicity material in partnership with the Communications Team to showcase the centres vibrant offer – thus driving up occupancy by introducing a range of programmes in line with the needs of the customers.
The role may require occasional unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.
Successful candidates will have, experience of customer profiling, partnership working to contribute to the development of new and inspiring initiatives. In addition candidates will have previous skills in marketing and sales, the ability to meet targets and excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Previous experience of managing people is required coupled with strong communication and team working skills. Knowledge of MS office packages required.
