About the charity

They campaign for better treatment care, and support for people affected by MS. They have a bold campaigns programme – from well-established national influencing campaigns on treatments, care and support and welfare, to campaigns which support people with MS to live better with the condition, and new ways of empowering people affected by MS to make change happen where they live.

The charity is also publicly launching the Stop MS Appeal in 2019 – their biggest and most important fundraising campaign ever. They are committed to raising more than £100m by 2024 for MS research to dramatically accelerate progress in developing treatments to slow and stop the progression of MS.

About you

At this particularly exciting time, the charity is recruiting a Campaigns Officer (on a 1 year FTC) to help them make a real difference to the lives of people affected by MS. The successful candidate will be a motivated and ambitious individual with experience of effective campaigns.

You will support the delivery of our national and local campaigns and in particular lead on case study recruitment and stewardship; work closely with the Digital Team to develop e-actions and monitor digital aspects of campaigning; be responsible for writing inspiring campaigning content; and provide support to cross-organisational campaigns. Your role will be vital in coordinating a diverse range of campaigning activities, as well as growing and nurturing a campaigns community.

You will be joining the charity at an exciting stage of its development and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, dynamic and friendly team.

They offer 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) a 35 hour working week, travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.
