Prospectus is excited to be seeking a Philanthropy Manager on behalf of an international development organisation that works to end poverty by creating and sustaining jobs.
The organisation is a pioneer and global leader in providing microfinance and training to the working poor. They empower individuals in developing countries with financial services - small loans, savings, micro insurance and business training - so that they can unlock their own potential and better provide for themselves and their families.
The Philanthropy Manager will personally manage relationships with a portfolio of high net worth donors, and will work with the members of the team and with the Royal Patron's Office in planning and delivering a healthy portfolio of cultivation and stewardship events. The Philanthropy Manager will directly line manage and have the support of the Development Executive.
The successful candidate will have excellent relationship management skills with an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and creatively pursuing new opportunities. You should be able to demonstrate experience of managing, growing and securing income from a portfolio of major donors and you will need experience in events.
On offer is an exciting and challenging role within a small team that has achieved great success historically and recently. The role reports into the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships and is offered on a permanent basis with flexible home/office working, as well as a commitment to the Oxford office each week.
