Housing & Support Manager 

The portfolio includes 29 units of Temporary Accommodation, 31 of supported accommodation, 17 for people with learning disabilities and 38 units where support is provided by a large and established provider. The challenge will be to balance housing management, partnership relations, overseeing and supervising housing and support staff directly and providing a first-class service to tenants and licencees.

Salary: £30,000 to £31,000 per annum

About the role:    Our client has a vacancy for the post of HSM in Sutton & Epsom. This is a varied and demanding post that requires experience, knowledge and sound judgement. 

This new venture will take on a variety of existing housing and housing-related support functions across the two boroughs and a range of tenures. The successful candidate will have responsibility for 4 staff and 115 tenants and licencees, some of these with significant support needs.

You will need experience of housing management, supporting vulnerable people to sector standards, staff management, the benefit system as it relates to housing and be strongly literate and numerate. Sound problem-solving skills would be a major advantage as would the flexibility to cope with changing needs and potential changes to the structure of the project and team as new challenges arise.

Enhanced DBS clearance will also be required.
