Our client are one of the West Midlands' leading and most successful providers of high quality homes. Owning and managing around 20,000 properties across Walsall, they provide affordable, good quality homes and community-based services to the local community.

‘Promote health and prosperity where they can make a difference’ is one of their five strategic aims and the one that sets out their commitment to improve the health and wellbeing of their customers. If you enjoy working with customers and you have a genuine passion for making a difference, you could be the Wellbeing Officer that they’re looking for.

To meet their ever growing customer demand, they are looking for a Wellbeing Officer to join their Older Persons Team.

As a Wellbeing Officer you will act as the first point of contact for older and vulnerable residents within whg wellbeing schemes.

You will provide an intensive housing management service with a focus on wellbeing to older and vulnerable residents, within their wellbeing schemes and the wider community. This helps them to maximise independence, sustain social networks and feel safe in their homes.

You will liaise with internal colleagues to ensure that individual customer needs are met and any housing management issues are dealt with. You will also work collaboratively with relevant agencies such as Health, Adult Social Care, GP’s and customers own support networks to help develop a coordinated approach.

In return they ensure their colleagues receive a competitive salary and a great benefits package including 27 days annual leave, an option of pension schemes, health cash plan, and child care vouchers.
