Supporter Care Administrator / Customer Service (Charity)    Our client is an international Christian charity with over 160 years’ experience helping people of all faiths and none to free themselves from a life of poverty and injustice. Their Christian partners in Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Syria and Iraq, run hospitals, clinics, schools and centres for people with disabilities. They provide support services for refugees, work for women’s empowerment, community development and supply humanitarian relief. 

Position: Supporter Care Administrator 
Location: Amersham, Buckinghamshire (accessible from London Underground Metropolitan line and Chiltern mainline services). 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 36.5 hours per week 
Salary: £20,000 per annum

About the role: 

This is a new and exciting opportunity to join our client’s Supporter Care Team, providing a high level of customer care to their loyal supporters whilst handling a wide range of enquiries to enthuse and inspire supporters, customers and potential supporters. A large part of the role will be to administer a range of financial processes for regular and ad-hoc donations received. Key to this role will be accurately entering information on to the Charity’s CRM database and following a range of set procedures to complete different types of transactions within internal procedures and regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities: 

- Processing financial donations. 
- Preparing and sending out acknowledgement letters. 
- Administering regular giving scheme. 
- Be the first point of contact for incoming enquiries including phone. 
- Other administrative supporter care duties. 
- Other general duties as required. 

This role offers the opportunity for training and development, working within a supportive team to use your expert data entry and customer service skills for a worthy cause. 

About you: 

To succeed in this role, you will be first and foremost a team player, with excellent customer service skills, either face to face, on the phone or in writing. You will have; recent experience of using and accurately recording information on to a CRM database, have excellent IT skills and attention to detail. Previous experience of processing financial donations would be highly desirable. 

The successful candidate will be required to complete a medical questionnaire and undertake a disclosure check as part of the Charity’s recruitment policy.
