Our client is offering an excellent opportunity within its Forensic Advocacy Team.
Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA)
Location: Manchester M25
Hours: 37.5 hour per week
Salary: £24,000pa for Qualified IMHAs or £22,000pa for Trainee IMHAs, rising to £24,000 when qualified
Required Experience: Working within Advocacy for 1 Year Minimum
They are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join their IMHA team to support and empower vulnerable adults detained under the Mental Health Act in a Medium-Secure forensic hospital.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy to a high standard;
- The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of professionals and service-users;
- A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and associated legislation.
