Sheffield Cathedral is at the heart of the Diocese of Sheffield in the Church of England. The Cathedral is a grade 1 listed building and is visited by over 200,000 visitors per year. Our mission is to be a place for all people to share in faith, learning, heritage and hospitality.
Sheffield Cathedral is a seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our staff team. We would welcome candidates with a good understanding of fundraising in the arts and heritage sectors. The role will focus on growing the Cathedral’s unrestricted income, particularly from legacy giving, corporate partners and individual giving.
You will work with the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for the work of the Fundraising Officer (part-time). Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a pragmatic approach will be sought after.
This is a full-time role (40hrs), flexible working may be available.
