Community Partnership Manager
Rochdale
Salary £34,195 - £37,858
Permanent, 36 ¼ hours per week in accordance with Worklife Balance Scheme and service requirements
For our client, housing is not just about being a good landlord or simply providing bricks and mortar – it is about the provision of great homes for people and families, about improving the lives of communities, about great local neighbourhoods and about helping create a more inclusive economy.
They're proud to be from Rochdale, and to work together with local people across the Borough to create great places to live and work. They're looking for a Communities Partnership Manager who will be at the heart of their communities, leading their community projects, and inspiring local people within their neighbourhoods to get involved.
Every day will be different, and every project will make a real difference. You'll oversee their training programme to build the skills and experience of community volunteers; you'll bring in external funding and resources to provide maximum impact in their neighbourhoods; and you'll ensure that the brand new £6m Strand hub can deliver for the community both now and far into the future.
With your team, you'll be a public face for them across the Borough, working closely with members, tenants, residents, Rochdale Council, community groups, charitable organisations and other partners. Your proactive approach will ensure that the organisations they work with will know that they are much more than just a landlord.
Strong knowledge of housing legislation and experience of engaging with service users to shape services at community and neighbourhood level are essential to achieve your goals.
