With a dynamic and forward-thinking culture, and a reputation for combining innovation with the relentless pursuit of excellence, the University is firmly established within the top 10 of all UK university rankings and is currently 51st in the world.
The Development Office is on a similar trajectory. With the appointment of a new Director of Development at the start of 2018, the team has been challenged to raise the funds needed to take the University and its students to the next level.
The university is now seeking to appoint a Data Manager to develop, coordinate and implement a data strategy that enables the Development Office to deliver new levels of philanthropic income in support of the Vice Chancellor’s 2030 Vision.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Development (Strategy & Operations), you will build information, knowledge and management systems to enable strategic, data-driven decision making on fundraising and campaign management.
With three direct reports, the post-holder will also provide strategic leadership for the data team and manage multiple projects that lead to high performance, innovation and improvements in data management.
You will be a good problem solver, have excellent inter-personal skills and extensive experience in data and information management.
