Head of Supporter Relations & Fundraising Operations
Exciting opportunity to join a Children's charity following the launch of there three year strategy. They are looking for a Head of supporter relations & fundraising operations to join the team.
You will play a lead role in a developing and launching a new and innovative approach to supporter centricity and drive improvements in the way they work across fundraising to improve effectiveness and efficiency. You would also work closely with the fundraising leadership team to drive the team forward for success. You will build strong relationships across the organisation, representing fundraising in a range of corporate initiatives and projects.
You will have a strong track record in supporter or customer relations. You would have lead large complex teams with a range of specialisms and have experience driving continuous improvement across an organisation or team. Ideally you would also have good knowledge of fundraising regulation and best practice.
You would lead a team of 18 specialists to deliver a range of support services for the fundraising team. You will have 4 direct reports. You would be responsible for embedding and delivering a supporter approach across fundraising - specifically within the supporter relations team.
Some of the key responsibilities:
* To drive a brilliant processes, procedures and ways of working which ensure the effective running of the fundraising team.
* To lead a highly skilled and motivated team to deliver to strategic objectives
* To ensure fundraising is kept abreast of regulatory changes and that activities are compliant and meet or exceed best practice
* To work closely with the Director of fundraising to monitor and measure the progress and success of the fundraising strategy.
