My client is part of an education group which believe in the power of skills to build successful careers, businesses, and economies based in South West London.

Description

The Key responsibilities for this Database Manager role are as follows:

  • Maintain data quality through rigorous data analysis, standards definition and adherence and data hygiene (contact management, health of customer database)
  • Create and run reports to identify quality issues, provide timely remedies and solution.
  • Create data flows and processes linked to CRM and other marketing platforms
  • Segmentation to with commercial planning, strategic marketing and revenue marketing to create lists and governance on management
  • Develop a centralised governance with sales, marketing and other customer facing areas on contact management including data quality rules, procedures, new processes and the standards for entering data into the system.
  • Managing reports on data quality metrics
  • Support best practices and adoption of processes to enter new data
  • Marketing operations in the innovation of marketing processes, workflows, training and documentation across lead management, data, campaign project management, integration between systems, SLAs and integration and roll out of new technology locally and globally,
  • Lead on global data issues especially where data decay is problematic, support on technology roll out & adoption and processes changes
  • Maintain and manage relationships with key stakeholders to the benefit of SCC.

    The successful Database Manager will have proven experience in the following:



    Proven track record in managing disparate datasets in to a centralised database

    A Marketing data back-ground

    Proactively identify areas of improvement in marketing data and delivers improved efficiency and quality of both the data as well as the processing systems.

    Captures and specifies "as is" and "to be" data processes, quality standards and requirements to support and track ongoing evolution of the underlying data strategy that drives our customer and prospect marketing analysis and contact processes, systems and data, ensuring realistic and realisable solutions

    Contributes to - and sense checks - data design for use by the revenue, digital and strategy team

    Drive progressive improvements in approaches used to increase value of the output

    Work as part of a project team with data providers, vendors and agencies

    Create and maintain a document repository, covering relevant process flows and documents in detail, as a single point of reference

    Have deep knowledge of database marketing and the use of data and systems in direct marketing campaigns

    Be able to explain complex technical processes in a simple term that marketers can understand

    Be able to demonstrate practical experience of defining, applying and monitoring quality of service standards

    Be able to demonstrate experience of using data manipulation, analysis, reporting and presentation tools

    Job Offer

    This Database Manager position will be based in London, South West London. The salary on offer is between £35,000 - £42,000 per annum. Experience of working within the Education and Training sector may be advantageous, experience of working in commercial environments will also be beneficial.
