Job Details

Hampshire Cultural Trust was established in 2014 to promote Hampshire as a great cultural county. They manage 23 arts and museum attractions across Hampshire, deliver county-wide outreach programmes that bring culture to local communities, and care for 2.5 million objects relating to Hampshire's rich and internationally important heritage. They also deliver a diverse range of social impact initiatives targeted at those who are most vulnerable or disadvantaged and who would not usually have access to arts and culture. Their mission is to provide great arts, heritage, museums and creative programming, working closely with local and national partners, placing communities, the collections and their stories at the heart of everything they do.

The Capital Projects Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the trust's capital investment programme across the HCT portfolio and four work streams. You will work closely with key decision makers on influencing projects ranging from renovation and redevelopment through to new exhibitions. You will be the go-to person within the trust for all project management guidance and support, developing and championing project management skills and competencies throughout the trust.

The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced project manager with significant management experience. You will be experienced in managing capital projects, preferably with exposure to Heritage Lottery Funding and/or Arts Council Funding, and a sound understanding of applied project management frameworks. You will be a strong communicator who is happy to get involved in all elements of the trust when needed. Strong stakeholder relationship skills and the ability to manage and report on budgets is also required.

You will need your own vehicle and full UK driving licence for this position as you will be required to travel to sites across Hampshire Cultural Trust's portfolio of venues and attractions.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 20th March.

Please submit a WORD copy of your CV and successful candidates will be contacted with additional information. Supporting statements are not required at this stage.
