Step Forward Tees Valley is an exciting new employment programme in Tees Valley jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund until the end of September 2019. Working in partnership with 27 voluntary and community sector delivery partners, SFTV will support 2500 people into or toward employment.

Salary: Circa £15,000 per annum (negotiable dependent upon experience)
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week (until 30th Sept 2019 – with potential extension of delivery)

About this role

Our client will provide 1:1 support to people who are long term unemployed to help them move towards and access training and employment. By providing intensive support and advice, the team will help each participant develop a tailored action plan and identify how this can be best met through existing services and/or via Step Forward Tees Valleys health, employment, financial and digital inclusion services.

In order to support the delivery of this programme the organisation are looking to recruit an effective administrator to join their team who will support the delivery of the Moving on Tyne & Wear programme. The post holder will be integral to maintaining systems for the programme and to ensure data is accurate and evidence is compliant. The post holder will engage with participants and employers face-to-face, via telephone, and in writing, supporting the wider team achieve its objectives.

This role is subject to a Basic Check through Disclosure Scotland.

About you

Our client want someone like you with the experience in an administrative function with a strong attention to detail to ensure a high level of accuracy. Proven experience using a wide range of IT is essential. Your role will require you to be a competent multi-tasker as well as being extremely well organised and have a positive attitude towards their work.

In your role you must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and build effective and professional relationships with colleagues, customers and external organisations.
