Executive Assistant (Finance) 

Our client is one of the leading learning disability charities in the country, providing support for 3,000 people with a learning disability and employing around 3000 staff. Operationally, they have been and continue to be innovative in recognising and championing good support, whilst taking an alternative view at how support is provided. Their efforts are sector leading and recognised and observed by CQC and local authorities who provide most of the funding for care packages. 

The 25 person Finance team provides transactional and strategic support to the organisation nationwide as well as the head office departments based in North Bristol including Finance, Investments, Payroll & Benefits, Company Secretarial, Governance, Risk Assurance and Appointee ship services. 

Position: Finance Executive Assistant 
Location: Emersons Green, Bristol BS16 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £26,611 per annum 

About the role: 

The Finance Executive Assistant will provide accurate efficient administration and strategic support to the Exec Director of Finance and Head of Finance; and be able to identify and anticipate their requirements. Demonstrate strong communication skills at all levels, be instrumental in the smooth running of the Directorate. 

The role will require you to have an extensive understanding of systems and financial reporting and regulations. Within the role you will develop a greater understanding of our financial / budgetary requirements in relation to the work of the Trust, directorate and the wider organisation. 

About you: 

You will need to have substantial experience of working within a finance team or organisations in an Executive support capacity as well as managing administrative teams and dealing with queries from stakeholders including Trustees. 

Experience of working cross functionally with payroll, HR and service operation teams and be an experienced user of financial systems is a must. You will need a professional customer service approach in all communications and the ability to nurture good working relationships with internal customers.
